I earned myself another sign...

This one was slipped under my door.

Sarah? Is that you? Have you officially entered blogland? Just for that- I'm going to tell you the story.
It was an hour and a half after I had sent Scout to bed and she was still up and coming downstairs asking for stuff etc. At one point she laughed so loud while playing with her ponies, she woke Elle up. While I was putting Elle back to sleep, she came in my room and told me she was hungry. I kept telling her to wait a minute, and we'll talk when Elle was back to sleep (she would open her eyes and crane her neck to get a look at Scout every time she talked). Since she was very tired (it being way past her bedtime and all) Scout didn't handle that very well and kept talking until I said, "Scout! Go to your room- I'll talk to you in a minute!" -in a voice that had lost all it's patience-. So she shut my door, went into her room, made the note and then slipped it under my door. Apparently it says, "no moms allowed in my room, cause they don't like Scout".
After Elinor was asleep (which didn't take long since Scout was now quiet and sulking) I went in there and was easily forgiven. She was asleep in minutes.

YAY SARAH!! I'm so excited you are going to be commenting now on the blogs. I was so excited when I saw your name on here. What a funny/sad/cute story. Scout is a crack up! Sad little sign but glad all is forgiven!

Um, I think I have been mistaken for another Sarah (happens with a beautiful, but common, name like mine ;) I met Emily on a baby related site. But I will take the enthusiastic welcome anyway!

Haha Sarah! I didn't know you read my blog. You must be that little blue dot in South Africa on my reader's map.
I have a niece named Sarah that I know checks my blog from time to time, we also have a family blog. She is away to college and has never made herself a profile to comment on blogs, so we thought maybe she finally had. I for one will happily transfer my enthusiastic welcome to you!

Yep, thought you were my sister! But welcome anyway.

Boy, does Scout make you pay! Glad she forgives easily, too.

Ok this is funny. I just have to comment. You're right I don't think I've ever done this before but I do read your blog a lot Em! Heidi even keeps up on it. She loves it! I loved that story and also how you guys were all so surprised that I commented, even though I didn't. But now I am!!

Haha! We pulled you out of the woodworks yet (somewhat ironically). Glad you guys like my blog, and I really like that story too.

Also- Amy, nothing good happens when Scout is short of sleep.
(except that picture of her- it's so cute. She managed to make it's body language very expressive -mine too for that matter-.) Rob always loves Scout's mad eyebrows she adds when needed.

Hahaha! two Sarahs, one my granddaughter and one a complete stanger. Nice! Keep the comments coming and welcome you both.
