Worked hard, tried hard

Rob bought me a new veggie scrubber.
I don't know-- I think the old one still had a little life left in it.

Poor little guy.  The new one looks so fancy and flashy next to it.  And  don't even ask how it scrubs a potato........

Fought hard, died hard.

If you get the reference in the title and the last line, you not only will win an Emily brownie point, but you might also enjoy a small chuckle (or at least I did............*crickets*........)

Hehehehehe....

I don't win the brownie point, because I had to google it (but I knew immediately what it had to be)

And yes, it made me giggle. Good one.

haha Em. It's funny how we hang on to things like that when you know you need a new one and it was probably only a couple of dollars for the new one. I did that with a broom. I had the same broom for years and years and it was so gross and the bristles? Is that what they are called? Were totally spread out and it barely worked. I finally got a new one and it cost like $7.

I do not recognize the last line, but am guessing it is a Radiohead lyric.

That is some spam that tried very hard up there. They took little snippets of other comments trying to disguise themselves as actual thoughtful comments. Bravo.
