Confetti

Rob received a check in the mail, a payment on a job he is doing painting someone's basement. The check was accompanied by this:We both had a good laugh when he opened it. But I can't let it go- my curiosity over the ordeal is twofold:

1. Who sends confetti with payment on a check to your painter?
2. What company makes this particular confetti and for what purpose? Someone graduating from handyman school? Happy birthday cheer for the plumber in your life? Congrats on that new set of power tools?

I am totally befuddled (and amused).

They might be leftovers from a scam of some sort...you know....free power drill and pipe wrench when you buy two widgets for $19.95 plus S.& H. Love em! Wish I had a box of them.

Haha! I smell ebay scam. I knew someone that bought a paint gun on ebay and it turned out to be a picture of one.

My theory is that some insane scrapbooking nerd was so enthusiastic over the job he did that she had to celebrate, and for the occasion, she pulled out on of her 9,845 different kinds of confetti and sent it to him. That's so Utah to me, I love it!!!

Eeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhttttttt (buzzer noise): the check came from California, and it was a prepayment (money down for materials, etc.) so there hadn't been any job done yet.

Sorry to totally debunk your theory.
(She still could be an insane scrapbooking nerd, just not a Utah one.)

I am laughing at it too. I have had Happy Birthday confetti in cards but this is a first! Hey atleast you got a check!

Maybe the confetti is made for little boy birthday parties. Bob the Builder was pretty big a few years ago. She's probably the only person who bought it.

There are 2 kinds of people in the world. Those that send confetti with things and those that don't. I am an anti-confetti person.

I bet they make confetti for all occassions.

confetti stinks. Ask mom about finding confetti in the house a year after having a new years eve party. It's a gift that keeps on giving and giving...
