It's like looking in a mirror.......

This morning, Scout opened my bedside drawer, took out my book, went into the bathroom and found my glasses, and got in my bed and opened my book and started to read.
I left the room to go find my camera and when I walked back in, she put the book down and went, ohhhhhhhhhhhh, hi baby! In a sugar sweet voice.
Rob was over there on his side and man we laughed. I asked him if I really look and sound like that.
He just laughed some more.

Oh man, she is the funniest thing on earth. How does she come up with these things? That is so cute how she is always switching roles with you, it shows how much she looks up to you. And yes, I finished my costume last week. Haha. Oh and those are my favorite versions of the song as well. I really like the wainright one. Tough choice.

She is just too cute! What book is that? Guessing from the picture, and the size of the book, I'm thinking Dostoevsky. Too big to be Crime and Punishment. So I bet it's The Brothers Karamazov. Am I right? If I am, I'm jealous. I love that book. I guess I could read it too, it's about 10 feet away on my bookshelf.

Anyhoo, Scout is adorable and I'm glad that she is at the age where dad can enjoy her too.

Sue-commenting it B style! I still can't get my user name to work.

Nice deductions, Nancy - The Brother's Karamazov it is.
I guess Scout's been in dad's radar/good graces for about 6 months now. She will be so happy.

Yay, I'm right! That is such an intense book. I love the youngest son, isn't he a minister or something? It's been probably 20 years since I read it. I think I'll pick it up again. It's been a long time since I've read a Dostoevsky. I read Crime and Punishment for the umpteenth time about 10 years ago.

There is a picture of Dad holding what looks like about a 1 year old Scout on his myspace page. He looks so proud. I guess that was a lie! And I have a picture of him holding me when I was a few days old. He's smiling! Humph!

It just hit me. The youngest son is a monk. Right?
