Scout's Art Gallery

Scout loves to draw, and I have collected some of my favorite pictures she's drawn over the last 6 months and thought I would post them.

A snake

This is a picture of me, Rob and Scout (with a baby in her tummy), 2 peaches and a dancing monkey

This is a portrait of me

and another one-
these were done about 6 months apart and my favorite part about them is that she included my little green ipod shuffle on my hip- both times.

This is a parrot, and includes his lunch of 3 avocados and 3 apples (if it seems a little trippy and psychedelic, note that it was done during a Motrin induced lull that Sunday when she had the high fever)

This is a picture of her (the red blob at the bottom) and a sleeping moon

This is B

This is a lizard family

This is a snake family
She named them all and wrote their names next to them. The only problem is "Scout" is the only name she knows how to write...

A jellyfish, a ghost and a giraffe next to a tree

Grandpa
(Grandpa must appear very tall indeed to a child -I love his arms!)

This one kills me and I thought I would let you all guess on what it might be a picture of....

I have no clue, but I love the drawings! The Grandpa one is adorable, and I noticed the arms right away, too. Open, waiting for a hug - fabulous!

My dad IS 6'5", so I suppose he appears tall to most people, but especially the half-pints.

It looks kind of like the beginning of our hedgehog. We laughed so hard at all the fruit and vegetables in that picture you sent us!! You guys must feed her really well. Also, I love that I am completely pink!! Is that how she sees my personality? Whatever it is, I love it, and I can't wait to see you guys!!!

I,too was thinking hedgehog or possibly a coconut. But, it's probably much deeper than that, knowing Scout.

Amy's guess of "coconut" is on track in that it is a food.
But not a coconut.

Hmm, I have no idea. Coconut would be my best guess. Maybe chocolate? Marcus says steak, haha. We don't know. Those pictures are really cute, I love the snake's face. They are all very cute and fun to look at, it's so funny what their minds come up with.

A bowl of egg drop soup?

That's it Cat- it's egg drop soup. I love Scout, I should buy her some today.

Oh Haley I love the snake's face too. I think it's my favorite. That and how long it is.

These are so cute! I love the faces she draws. And I love the groupings she does. Her family with 2 peaches and a dancing monkey! That is the best. I love the picture she drew for me. Halloween night and an eggplant. I have it hanging on my wall of niece and nephew art.

Halloween night and an eggplant. That was classic. If she becomes an artist some day, that will be her signature- random fruits and vegetables thrown into every picture.

Funny thing. EVERY time I see the thumbnail of Scout's snake on another blog, my first thought is "Why did Em take a picture of a pile of spaghetti noodles?" then I remember. Creepy Baby George is looking very Smeagalish this week.
