Last night at soccer Scout beat her personal best and got 6 goals! --Leading the Rainbow Dragons to victory. I was able to get one good shot of her scoring a goal, but I am really missing the loaner camera Matt has supplied me lately so I can get some zoom ins.
So this was the best I could do with my ipod:
I think we have pinpointed her success at the sport: 1. she is a fast runner and 2. she is focused (which is a rare trait in 4 year old sports-mans).
Now if we could just get her to focus on other tasks she does......

Holly BIP! Six goals, a double hat trick. That's amazing. I can see in the video that she can run and kick and is so tall relative to the size of the other 4 year olds. Focus is the key. You are wright about that. Don't worry about the other things. Just keep her playing soccer. "Bend It Like Beckham" We will have to come up with a new nickname for the Bean. That is so cute to see her run and kick that ball in the goal...Go! Bean.
Way to go Scout!!!
Wow that's so good! She will probably be pretty good at sports if she continues to enjoy them. She will probably be taller than most girls. I can't believe she is old enough already to be playing soccer! I'm glad she is enjoying it. It was cute to see her!
She just re watched this video and said, "next time I am going to get 10!"
What a monster.
I'm going to start calling her "Keira" for Keira Knightley who acted in the Bend it like Beckham movie. Besides, she is kinda tall and thin like our Scout and also rather cute...
The best part of the whole soccer game was on her next goal, which was similar in fashion to the one displayed here, Scout was surrounded by a couple players on the other team and standing in a shyly smug stance said "Do you believe it, I scored another goal."
My little taunter!
Perhaps next we have a few lessons about being a good sport.
She hasn't had any huffs or cries about not getting/losing the ball since that first game I am happy to report. At least she wasn't Noah- that kid got taken out of the game for hitting and shoving members of the other team.
